De Zilvermeeuw is a watertouring company with 7 boats, ranging from 25 to 600 passengers. The company that has its home base in National Park De Biesbosch sails in Netherlands and Belgium. That is why three years ago we have built a completely new vessel. That operates very quietly, clean, efficiently and hybrid (diesel-electric). We have been closely involved in the design, propulsion system and emission control measures. This ship is currently the most sustainable party boat in the Netherland

Ishy project activities

Zilvermeeuw wants to build a ship for 250 people that can sail with 75% CO2 reduction. We will achieve this through electric propulsion with a battery pack. In this project we assume that the ship will make a 2-hour cruise through the Biesbosch National Park 3 days a day.
