Yerseke Engine Services repairs, maintains and overhauls Caterpillar engines worldwide for inland shipping, fishing and offshore industries. It is a business run by the Braal family and it is bases in Yerseke, the Netherlands.

YES’s strenght is its quick service and vast expertise. Repairs and maintenance are carried out as much as possible on the ship itself, wherever that ship find itself at that moment. Thanks to the large stock of parts, YES can ensure that our customers are sailing again fast.

If necessary, repairs and overhauls take place at our modern workshops in Yerseke. Thanks to expert engineers, modern facilities and an advanced engine test rig, YES is able to deliver quality to its clients. Quality we’re proud of!

Ishy project activities

It is the ambition of YES to contribute in the set CO2-emission reduction targets and to participate in developing effective low-carbon propulsion systems for new built vessels and retrofits. That is why YES is project partner in the EU Interreg 2 Seas ISHY project in retrofitting both diesel propulsion lines of the inland waterway barge Vera Cruz to hybrid hydrogen diesel propulsion lines.

Our activities within the ISHY projects are:

# Design and engineering the optimal integrated hybrid propulsion system configured with proven technologies.
# Modyfying and construction of the engine room, fuel storage system, safety system and integrated control system.
# Coordinating certification and classification.
# Collaborate with all other partners in the ISHY project to ensure all objectives are met.
